Fabulous Forgeries

Hello all,
I have been getting ready for the Artist Gallery's Fabulous Forgeries show (6 January, 2006). I think it's the best show in Virginia Beach. Last year I couldn't participate because I was in a "Dark night of the Soul" .....if you know what I mean.

Here are my "Matisse cutout style" I have been working on. These are my studies of Matisse's work and have been working on some "Picasso cutout style" art. Clearly marked are my Fabulous Forgery entries.

Quote of the week: "It is not fitting, when one is in God's service, to have a gloomy face or a chilling look."

I love the "untitled so far' entry. It is very primal and I see a lot of fin-like motifs that jive nicely with the human limbs. There is a lot of energy in there that seems to be wanting to move. Get loose. Scream and shout, "The dark night is over."
